ANTENATAL CLASSES IN FROME
Why mothers love motherslove:
mum to Jago (4) and Jory (1), Bristol.
"I came to motherslove antenatal classes with my first child. Emilie was a brilliant teacher. During my first pregnancy I felt quite anxious and she was very reassuring and calming.
Emilie helped me feel more in control, less apprehensive and to know what to expect, so I could navigate a calmer way through - knowing how to listen and respond to my body.
The whole experience was really lovely."
Mrs E. Hawke
“The best thing was the reassurance, empowerment and relief gained from all the information on the course.
I only wish it lasted longer - what a wonderful day.”
mum to Jonah
“The classes were comprehensive, covering all of the body from head-to-toe. There was good focus on breathing, relaxation and preparing for birth in various positions.
I enjoyed the relaxation at the end and almost fell asleep! I felt very nurtured by Emilie and would be happy to recommend her to other expectant mums.”
"Emilie is down to earth and friendly; she creates an inclusive and warm environment for the classes."

Tiffany Field, Pregnancy and Labor Massage research - March 2010
"Massage therapy has been demonstrated to be effective during pregnancy. Women who received massage therapy reported decreased depression, anxiety, and leg and back pain. Cortisol levels decreased and, in turn, excessive fetal activity decreased, and the rate of prematurity was lower in the massage group.
In a study of labor pain, women who received massage therapy experienced significantly less pain, and their labors were on average 3 hours shorter with less need for medication."
