postnatal classes - twice a week
Nurturing postnatal classes to help you prepare reconnect with and nurture your body post birth.
These flexible online classes run weekly, you can access the recording for the week after the session so you can easily fit in more movement during your week. Classes are live and interactive so you'll get to share stories and check in with other mums.

The approach blends science-backed body knowledge using modern biomechanics, embodiemnt techniques that can help you take yoga into your everyday life; it’s straight talking mindfulness and movement that’s accessible to all.
Developed and taught by Emilie, a doula, yoga and antenatal teacher with over 12 years of experience with pregnant and postnatal families. She's passionate about postnatal recovery and has trained in supporting diastasis recti issues, healing pelvic floor and helping with continence problems. Emilie's also an NCT breastfeeding supporter.

the benefits of postnatal yoga
Classes are for new mothers in the first 6 months postnatal, whatever your experience: Mums who may have had caesarean births, pelvic floor issues, abdominal separation or are breastfeeding are all welcome (provided your GP gives you the go-ahead).
Balance & posture
Yoga can help you adjust to the changes in your the body. Classes are designed to ease aching shoulders and get you back to moving after the birth of your baby.
Movement to gently strengthen legs, arms and core muscles every week can help ease you through get through the early months of parenting.
Soothe aches & pain
Common pain areas like tense shoulders and lower back pain can be gently eased to help you get on with caring for your baby more comfortably.
Time for you
Having space and time to adapt to new motherhood can be vital for peace of mind. In classes there’s time to chat, share experience and meet other mums.

a place to BE as much as DO
There are babies in the room. Sometimes mamas haven't slept well. Some folks will get more chance to move others will be tending to baby more. Try not to place to big an expectation on getting things done in class.
You can rock up in your PJs if it's that kind of a day.
It's a no judgement zone.
